WHAT A COLOUR!
What A Color! facilitates its participants to communicate what they see, feel and think through colour, texture, form, pattern and different materials and processes? Art stimulates creativity and imagination. It provides visual and tactile experiences, a unique way of understanding and responding to the world. They explore ideas and meanings through their imaginations. Through learning about the roles and functions of art, they can explore the impact it has had on contemporary life and that of different times and cultures.
Eligible Grades:IV - V
Number Of Participants: 2 individual participants per category.
Note: 5 minutes will be provided to submit the artwork with a pre-written explanation of the concept of the drawing.

Judgement Criteria:

The theme is as follows: My Country, My Pride!

An A3 size sheet will be provided by the school. Any medium like acrylic paints, oil paints, charcoal, water colours, etc. can be used.

Students must carry their own materials.

The use of unfair means via plagiarism will disqualify the participant.

In case of a tie, it will be left to the discretion of the judges to decide on a winner.

The decision of the judges will be final and binding to all participants.

The participant's name, class, and school name must be neatly mentioned on the back side of the artwork.

Preparation time: 1 hour 30 mins to create the artwork.
