Vocal Vibes

A solo singing competition to provide all participants with a memorable experience on stage to showcase their talents, not only as a singer but also as a performer.

Eligible Grades: Grade IX to XII

Number of Participants Team: 1 participant from each school

Time Limit: 3 to 4 mins Judgement Criteria:

Pitching-5 Marks

Rhythm (timing)

Coordination-5 Marks

Diction and clarity-5 Marks

Presentation-5 Marks

Rules and Regulations:

The language of songs for the competition to be only in English.
Each participant will carry their own karaoke / backing track on a pen drive. The same is also to be mailed at shivams@scottishigh.com by 6th November’24.
Participants can also accompany themselves with live music or any instrument (guitar or keyboard only) if they know how to play.
However, no extra points will be rewarded for the same. The selected songs should not contain any derogatory lyrics.
There will be a negative marking of 2 marks for interruptions during the performance and half a mark will be deducted on exceeding every 30 seconds from the total time limit of the participant.
